I believe this was used for old weaponry or dolls. The white you see in the back image is washi paper with foil thread. It appears light brown or ocher on the front, but it was originally silver brocade. As it's a ground weave, I suspect it's an imported fabric, but I haven't confirmed it. This is not for remaking, but is being sold as a reference material for old fabric. It will be shipped folded. As it is old, it has no stiffness.
