This is a J. Michael flugelhorn. There are no noticeable scratches on the surface, and it produces sound, but the spit valve on the 1st piston is likely missing, and its movement is poor. I'm a novice, but I think the piston might work if the spit valve is fixed... (There's a possibility I'm wrong)
