He is known for his beautiful tone and noble, refined performances. His miniature pieces for violin are still loved by people today. Kreisler's collection of miniatures is known and loved as encore pieces. This is a self-performed album that collects those beloved miniatures. Its stylish taste and sepia-toned sound are unique to Kreisler. While Kreisler's recordings of violin concertos are also attractive, his true forte is probably his own compositions and arrangements of miniatures. The large portamentos and tempo rubato seem to entangle the listener's sensibilities.
