My child tends to get hot easily, so this windbreaker without lining was very useful when it started to get a little chilly. It's lightweight and very convenient to carry around. They wore it when going outside, and took it off when they went inside, so the wear time wasn't very long. The hood has never been used. There is no pilling, fading, or blackening of the cuffs or hem from wear, and there are no noticeable stains. I think it's in the category of a beautiful item.
