This is a guitar pick made from the highest-grade, rare wood, Brazilian Rosewood (Jacaranda). Jacaranda is currently listed as an endangered species under the Washington Convention, making it difficult to obtain. This material, seasoned (naturally dried) for over 20 years, is used in high-quality, handmade guitars. This pick is made from a very dark Jacaranda, which is rarely seen these days. It has the unique, pleasant fragrance of rosewood (the "rose-scented wood").
