I purchased this for my child to change into at daycare, and I believe it was worn about five times. I didn't see any stains, but since it was washed, there is some pilling or fuzzing. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this. The color is not pure white, but ivory? It's a slightly yellowish color. The name has been blacked out with a pen.
