We are confident in the quality of our product because we source U.S.-grown Timothy hay from a company that supplies Timothy hay to racehorses. The main difference compared to Canadian Timothy hay is its length. Longer Timothy hay is preferred because it encourages better eating, and it's recommended for those who find that shorter hay falls through the cage. We ship the hay in a plastic bag. Please understand that the 1kg of Timothy hay will be shipped in a similar way to the product photo, as it won't fit in a zip-lock bag. Approximately 10% of the hay may contain brown, dried grass, which is present from the time of import. As it is hay, it will naturally dry out over time. When we sort the hay after receiving your order, we separate out the brown, dried grass as much as possible, but it's impossible to remove it all. Therefore, we add a little extra to your order.
