A heartwarming human drama based on Akio Morisawa's novel of the same name, adapted into a live-action film. Tetsuo Gonda, also known as Gon-mama, spends his days training his body at the gym and runs "Snack Hibari" at night, which is frequented by his gym buddies. The unique individuals who gather at the snack each have their own worries and sorrows. Gon-mama and the bartender Kaori offer "cocktail words" in a whisper to those troubled patrons, preparing cocktails that address their concerns. One night, dentist Ryoichi Shikami visits. Ryoichi, known for his rapid-fire conversations, is actually burdened by a great sadness, and his relationship with his wife has grown cold. Gon-mama serves Ryoichi a certain cocktail as he begins to share his troubles. Gonan Goto from the Netflix drama "The Naked Director" stars as Gon-mama, with Motoki Fukami and Kumiko Endo playing Ryoichi and his wife, and Meme Tamura, a rising star in the musical world, playing Kaori. The film is directed by Hatsuki Yokoo, known for "Yurari" and "Kohaku."
