This is a thick, off-white yarn made of 100% kapok. There is approximately 340g per skein. It's a large quantity, but the skein is tangled, making it difficult to wind onto a cone. Recommended for experienced users familiar with handling skein yarn. I purchased this as surplus from a sewing factory, and since I have too much to use, I'm offering it in smaller portions. I use it as warp thread when weaving mats, but it also seems suitable for summer knitting. About Kapok Yarn: This yarn is made from cotton harvested from the fruit of the kapok tree, a tropical plant found in Indonesia, Thailand, and India.
