Pre-dyed denim can also create a contrasting color effect when rolled up, as the back of the fabric is white. This item can be identified as being produced at the old 16th factory in Baldwyn, Mississippi, USA, based on the stamp (653) on the back of the top button. This factory is known for producing denim with excellent fading characteristics. Pre-dyed black denim was manufactured for less than 10 years, from the late 1980s to the late 1990s, making it a relatively short production run among Levi's denim products. As a result, the number of these items is small, and those made in the USA are particularly rare, leading to higher prices.
