There is some slight discoloration on the main unit, but it is in good condition with no noticeable scratches. The unit has been lightly maintained before listing, so you can use it immediately upon arrival. Although it is a version 2 unit, which may seem old, version 3 and later use an auto blade that adjusts the blade extension from the app (although analog users can also use an adapter). Replacing the blade means replacing the entire carriage, which can be quite expensive. Purchasing a carriage from another company that only allows blade replacement (also sold on Amazon, etc.) will reduce future costs and allow for fine adjustment of the blade extension. The connection is wired via USB, but if you don't mind not having wireless, the unit is compact and very user-friendly. There is one blade included with the main unit, and another one (not new, but still cuts properly). A new adhesive mat is also included.
