I've used it occasionally, but there are no noticeable stains or scratches. The surface has a snakeskin pattern and a slightly three-dimensional feel. The length of the shoulder strap can be adjusted with the metal fittings. The frame is firm and doesn't deform even when items are placed inside. It doesn't hold a lot, so it's easy to use on days when you have few belongings.
