It's classified as matte, but it's not too matte and doesn't dry out, so it's also recommended for those who want to try matte lipsticks. I've used it about twice, but I don't think it suits me, so I'm selling it. There are no scratches or stains on the exterior or the lipstick itself. The second photo shows the amount when fully extended. As many of you may know, with Chanel lipsticks, you can peel off the sticker at the bottom of the lipstick and use a toothpick or something similar to push out more product.
