The following is adapted from Vox: The V846-HW, with its artistically beautiful hand-wired circuitry, achieves an ideal and rational signal path, and is truly the ultimate wah pedal, instantly responding to even the most subtle changes in a guitarist's touch. ■ Uses turret board hand-wired circuitry, without using any printed circuit boards. ■ True bypass circuit to minimize sound quality degradation when bypassed. ■ Vintage-spec Halo-type inductor that reproduces the unique sound of the V846. ■ Newly developed VOX original pot for more delicate control and improved durability. ■ Low-noise, domestically produced Kamaya Electric carbon composite resistors. ■ Curling foot switch for excellent durability and feel. ■ Rugged and reliable Switchcraft jacks. ■ High-grade polyester film capacitors. Parts that are thoroughly particular about. For the carbon composite resistors, we use domestically produced Kamaya Electric components. They produce very little noise and create a transparent sound. For the foot switch, we use high-quality Curling parts with excellent durability and feel. For the jack, we have adopted Switchcraft jacks, which are highly reliable due to their solid fitting, simple structure, and robust construction. Furthermore, like the VOX Hand-Wired series amplifiers, we use high-grade polyester film capacitors.
