This is likely a silver-plated (possibly brass/copper base) tray, believed to originate from Fes, an ancient city in Morocco, North Africa. The entire surface is intricately engraved with intersecting geometric patterns and six-petal rosettes (floral motifs), with a continuous wave-like border (scallops). The inscription "FES 98 7 14 KIJIMA" can be seen on the back edge. See the last two photos for reference. There is some silver-specific tarnishing, verdigris, and minor scratches due to aging, which adds depth as an antique.
