A set of tea cups and saucers made in Jingdezhen, China, using the "Hotaru-yaki" (firefly-fired) technique. Jingdezhen is a world-renowned ceramics city. "Hotaru-yaki" is a technique where rice-grain-shaped holes are made in the clay, filled with transparent glaze, and then fired. When tea is poured in, the translucent parts shine through the light, resembling fireflies. The bottom is marked with "Made in Jingdezhen."
