This is a very old iron tsuba. The thick, rugged construction and well-balanced, beautiful design are wonderful. It's a very large tsuba, and it seems it was made for a rather large sword. It's well-forged and has a superb, black iron texture. It's very heavy, weighing over 280g. I believe it's a piece from a considerably old era. 8.85 cm × 8.7 cm × 6.5 mm
