This is a ceramic barrette that my family purchased in France about 60 years ago. The metal clasp of the barrette broke, so it was replaced with a Japanese-made clasp. Therefore, the clasp is marked "Made in Japan." The clasp was also replaced over 30 years ago, making it an antique. The ceramic flowers have a slight relief and a gentle floral pattern, making it cute. As it is an old item, there are scratches, stains, and discoloration.
