【Antique Market Purchase: Vintage White Porcelain with Wave and Plover Design, Sometsuke, Cups, Sake Cups, Ochoko, Guinomis, Set of 2】 These are ochoko (sake cups) with a wave and plover design, purchased at an antique market about 20 years ago. They are made of thin white porcelain, allowing the pattern to be seen from the inside. They could also be used as teacups for Chinese tea. There appears to be a mark on the bottom, but it is faint and unreadable. One cup has a rough patch on the rim, likely a kiln mark. (See image 6) Otherwise, I personally feel they are in beautiful condition with no noticeable damage. Set of 2. Size: Approximately 5cm in diameter x 2.8cm in height.
