This is a used knitting machine that has been used several times after purchase. It has dents, distortions, stains, rust, etc. All the needles have been polished, and those with severe rust have been replaced with new compatible ones. The product name plate was detached, so it has been repaired with instant glue. The tension was rusty (images 10, 11), so it has been polished with a wax-containing polishing cloth and coated with oil as a rust preventative. The crack in the white plastic part (image 12) has been repaired with instant glue. The corner of the punch card insertion slot cover is chipped, and the knob of the punch card insertion lever is missing; these have been repaired with instant glue. The stitch scale and sheet are dirty and have folds. Two screws were missing from the case, so I have attached ones I had at home (image 2). The needle retainer sponge has been replaced (image 5). The connection between the lid and the main body of the parts box on the left side is easily detached. There are no crochet hooks or tapestry needles. I don't know if the Brother pen is usable. The punch cards are compatible products. There is no instruction manual, but please refer to the Brother Industries website instruction manual, as it is the same as the instructions for the KH881 and KH893 models with built-in knit leaders. In addition, there may be areas I have overlooked, but I have checked the selection status by doing tuck stitch, stockinette stitch, and lace stitch with all the needles, so there should be no problem in making projects.
