It has a tradition of about 300 years since the Edo period and has the following three major features: Blue cracks: Beautiful crack patterns that spread across the entire vessel, created by the difference in shrinkage rates between the material and the glaze. Running horses: Hand-painted by skilled artisans, depicting the "Goshinkoma" of the Soma clan, and are considered auspicious as "Sama (nothing surpasses it)."
