I was captivated by the color and design and purchased it, hearing that it was a precious obi made from a restored ancient breed that creates cocoons through three periods of dormancy and molting. However, since lighter colors suit my existing kimonos, I am selling it in near-new condition to repurchase a different one. Matsuya, Nishijin Maizuru, a long-established Nishijin-ori weaver. Near-new condition, I feel it is beautiful with no noticeable stains or scratches. Wonderful weaving that looks like embroidery. I purchased it for classical theater viewing, tea ceremony practice, and tea gatherings. Can be used with Komon (casual kimono), Edo Komon (Edo-style Komon), Iromuji (single-color kimono), Tsukesage (semi-formal kimono), and Homongi (visiting kimono).
