This is the 5th model from 1976. The marked size is 10 1/2. The three stripes and heel counter patch are made of velour, predating the use of vinyl, and this model is recognized as having the best shape among vintage Country shoes. There is hardening of the outsole due to aging, peeling of the fabric on the back of the tongue, cracks due to vinyl deterioration in the quarter lining, and some scuffing on the velour, but the leather is in good condition for its age. The shoelaces are German-made pedag. As it was in daily use until recently, there are wear and tear patches on the sole and heel pad to prevent deterioration. It can be beautifully restored at a sneaker repair shop, such as by replacing the entire outsole and replacing the cracked vinyl quarter lining with leather, so it can still be worn daily. The suede on the toe and heel counter is also in good condition, and there is no peeling from the midsole body, and the cushioning is good. Although it is a model from before the heel cup was adopted, there is no deformation of the heel, and it does not affect the fit. It is an early model that rarely appears on the market, but it is an early Country that can be worn daily, as well as being suitable for collection in its current condition.
