Considering wiping the mouthpiece and the way to wrap it that is taught in school, I made it in a simple rectangular shape. Made with a single layer of double gauze, with the edges finished with a serger. Since children will use it on the mouthpiece, I finished it without using fray check. It's thin, so it's easy to insert into the recorder and seems easy to clean. I tried making it with two layers, but it tended to get clogged, so I made it with one layer.
