I purchased this intending to use it after giving birth, but I had my stitches removed before leaving the hospital, so I didn't experience any pain. I only used it for a few days while in the hospital, and even then, only during lunch and dinner. Therefore, I barely used it. It's a beautiful item with no noticeable scratches or stains.
