This is a piece I knitted back when I enjoyed knitting. I used to knit various simple items for myself and wear them, but this is when I challenged myself with a full-fledged openwork pattern. I knitted it with care and enthusiasm. I kept this sweater in storage because I didn't want to get the off-white color dirty, so I hardly wore it. I don't see any noticeable stains or spots, but it has the characteristic fuzziness of hand-knitted items. The neckline is doubled. The cuffs and hem are finished with a ribbing bind-off. It's a generous size and very warm. I knitted it with Puppy yarn (100% wool). I still think the soft, fluffy feel of hand-knitted items is wonderful.
