Purchased new over 50 years ago, this item has seen little use as I rarely wear kimono. Condition includes wrinkles, some stains, areas that appear whitish, creasing in the core, and a slightly aged scent. It has been stored in a kimono chest for many years. It appears dark red in the photos, but is closer to vermilion. This is an old-fashioned date締め (a type of under-kimono sash) with a core.
