Used bamboo futaoki (lid rests), a pair for the ro (sunken hearth) and furo (portable brazier). These are works by Kuroda Shogen, and come with a matching box. The underside of the lids bear a handwritten inscription by the Urasenke School's 15th-generation Grand Master, Hounsai, and the futaoki themselves have Hounsai's kao (signature). The ro-use one has no cracks or chips and appears to be in beautiful condition. The furo-use one has a crack that has been repaired with staples. Please be aware of this. As both are made of natural materials, please forgive any stains, dirt, or minor scratches that are part of their character. The matching box has some age-related discoloration and stains. Please understand that these are used items with repair marks. Free shipping is planned via Rakuraku Mercari delivery. #Rikyu #Sotan #Sensou #Gengensai #Ennosai #Tantansai #Hounsai #Zabosai #Seisai #Sokuchusai #Jimyosai #Naosai #Omotesenke #Urasenke #Onishi #Eiraku #Chadogu (Tea Utensils) #Daitokuji #Kaiseki Dogu (Dishes for Kaiseki) #Kado (Flower Arranging) #Kabin (Vase) #Toki (Pottery) #Furo (Portable Brazier) #Kotto (Antique) #Tetsubin (Iron Kettle) #Nambu Tekki (Nambu Ironware) #Kin (Gold) #Kenzan #Makuzu #Sakaida Kakiemon #Imaemon #Yuko #Nishijin-ori (Nishijin Weave) #Tokusai #Imari #Kutani #Nabeshima #Kyoyaki (Kyoto Ware) #Kyoto #Ningen Kokuho (Living National Treasure) #Shokokuji #Togei (Ceramics) #Kodo (Incense Utensils) #Kodo (Way of Incense) #Koro (Incense Burner) #Furo (Portable Brazier) #Shichijishiki (Seven Formal Tea Procedures) #Chaji (Tea Ceremony) #Yodori (Evening Tea Ceremony) #Antique #Shinoryu (Shino School) #Enshu #Fumai #Koicha (Thick Tea) #Usucha (Thin Tea) #Hamada Shoji #Inoue Manji #Kobayashi Taigen Rikyu Sotan Sensou Gengensai Ennosai Tantansai Hounsai Zabosai Seisai Sokuchusai Jimyosai Naosai Omotesenke Urasenke Onishi Eiraku Chadogu Daitokuji Kaiseki Dogu Kado Kabin Toki Furo Kotto Tetsubin Nambu Tekki Kin Kenzan Makuzu Sakaida Kakiemon Imaemon Yuko Nishijin-ori Tokusai Imari Kutani Nabeshima Kyoyaki Kyoto Ningen Kokuho Shokokuji Togei Kodo Kodo Koro Furo Shichijishiki Chaji Yodori Antique Shinoryu Enshu Fumai Koicha Usucha Hamada Shoji Inoue Manji Kobayashi Taigen
