Size: Diameter 42cm x 39cm, Height (including handle) 36cm This item was purchased about 10 years ago at the "Wild Basket Exhibition" (see photos 9 and 10) held at a folk art shop in Minami-Aoyama. I selected and acquired several baskets from among many, and this item is called a hexagonal bamboo basket, which I heard is a common type in the Tsugaru region. Perhaps it was placed near an irori (sunken hearth), as it has black soot and a deep flavor. I used it for flower vases and storing old cloths, but I think it can be used for various purposes. The condition has some bamboo fraying, and I will include two invitation cards, but please note that this item is not among the items listed in the cards.
