While it's inferior in performance to the current Ocea Jigger, it's more than sufficient for light fishing in nearshore to mid-depth waters. I think it can handle tuna jigging. The reeling feel is not gritty or rough, but rather reflects its age, but it's still usable. Please consider this item with the understanding that it is a used product.
