This IKEA stainless steel pot has a bit of weight to it and I believe it can be used on all heat sources. There are no instructions or box. I used it only once for New Year's osechi料理 (traditional New Year's dishes), and there are streak-like marks on the inside bottom from when I removed some burnt food. It looks dark in the photos, but it's not actually black (personal opinion). Thank you for your understanding.
