This is a used Zeiss Ikon Ikonta 521A, a rangefinder spring camera. In Japan, the 6x4.5cm frame size is called "semi," hence it's part of the "Semi Ikonta" series. This particular model is a post-war version, likely from 1951, based on the red window for semi format, the lens coating mark, and the serial number. The camera's basic features include a double exposure prevention device. It lacks a rangefinder, with distance markings in feet. It's a higher-end model, equipped with a coated Tessar 75mm f/3.5 lens and a Compur-Rapid shutter with speeds of B, 1-1/500 seconds. As shown in the images, the body has rust and scratches, but the bellows are intact. The double exposure prevention device, linked to the shutter button, and the shutter itself function correctly. However, the following issues have been identified: * Lens has mold, dirt, and balsam separation (see images 6 and 12; this shouldn't affect normal shooting, but may cause issues in backlit situations). * The lid doesn't open and close smoothly. Despite these issues, I've taken test shots, and they show little to no impact on the photos, suggesting it's practically usable. Sample photos taken with Ilford XP2 film are also uploaded for reference. While some issues are unavoidable due to age, they are repairable. Consider an overhaul for optimal use. No accessories included; camera body only. P.S.: I'll include a free roll of Kodak T-MAX 400 film for test shooting.
