The pickguard in the photo is not included. The pots are custom CTS, which eliminate sound leakage when the volume is at zero. The capacitor is 0.1uF paper-wax from the 1950s, similar to vintage Fender. The original clear and high-resolution tone of paper-wax makes 0.1uF feel light, providing a smooth tone. *The capacitor manufacturer may vary depending on stock availability. Western Electric single-conductor wire is very clear and outputs across the entire frequency range. Because of its clear sound quality, it can sometimes sound too clear when paired with low-output vintage-type single-coil pickups. However, twisting two single-conductor wires together provides a nuanced sound similar to stranded wire. The jack wiring uses the twisted single-conductor wire combined with a mesh wire for shielding, which is highly effective against noise. For the ground wire between the pots, two copper wires are twisted together for even higher conductivity. This circuit provides a clear sound without thinning, and a wide frequency range from high to low, while suppressing noise. Controls are master volume, front + center tone, and rear tone. Currently, CRL selectors are expensive, costing as much as 4000 yen. All parts are imported, so the price may increase further if parts costs rise. Compared to a circuit using standard CTS pots, the parts cost is about twice as high, and the production time is three times longer, so only a limited number will be produced.
