This is a used book of the monthly magazine "Kōkoku Hihyō" (Advertising Criticism), published in July 2003, issue number 273, by Madra Publishing. "Kōkoku Hihyō" is a Japanese monthly magazine that primarily critiques advertisements such as TV commercials. The editor-in-chief was Yukichi Amano, and the editor and publisher was Michiko Shimamori. It was first published in 1979 and ceased publication with the April 2009 issue. This issue features "Masahiko Sato Laboratory" by creative director Masahiko Sato. Masahiko Sato is a creative director and filmmaker, as well as an honorary professor at Tokyo University of the Arts. After working as a CM planner at Dentsu, he established the planning company "TOPICS." Outside of advertising, he is known for "Dango 3 Kyodai" (Three Dumplings), which was broadcast on NHK Educational TV and for which he wrote lyrics and produced. He was the mastermind behind this explosive popularity that became a social phenomenon. He was also involved in the supervision of NHK Educational programs such as "PythagoraSwitch," which is also mentioned in this issue, and is interviewed in the latter half of this feature.
