The design is loose-fitting, so I think it can be worn as early maternity wear. The sleeves are lightly ballooned, and the zipper in the back is also an accent, making it cute to wear on its own. If you put on a structured jacket, it won't look out of place in a formal setting. It's above the knee on me, at 168cm tall, and measures 89cm when laid flat.
