This is an old Wajima-nuri lacquerware plate. It features a refined gold rim, vermilion inner color, and black lacquer, with an elegant Omotaka (arrowhead) design in chinkin (gold inlay). It's a plate with a solid height. The carefully carved chinkin design and the thin, sturdy wooden base create a high-quality piece despite its small size.
