This item was included when I purchased a used vehicle, but I removed it and have been storing it. The parts that insert into the frame are taped to the main body to prevent loss. The surface of the loading platform has almost no scratches or scuffs, and it appears to be nearly unused as a carrier. The folding, movable stay parts are made of resin, and the main body is made of hollow pipe, so it is lightweight for its size, weighing 580g as measured. The size of the loading platform is 12 x 28 cm.
