This is a set of six volumes of the Complete Works of Kenji Miyazawa. All volumes are first editions and include the monthly bulletin. Volume 2: Poetry 1 This volume includes the complete text of the first edition of *Haru to Shura* (Spring and Asura), the only poetry collection published by Kenji during his lifetime, as well as the *Haru to Shura* owned by the Miyazawa family, which Kenji revised and corrected. It also includes poems from the same period. Volume 4: Poetry 3 This volume includes the poems from April 1926 to July 1928, as designated by Kenji, from the colloquial poetry drafts with dates and work numbers, "Spring and Asura, Third Collection." Furthermore, it includes "Third Collection Supplement" and "Poetry Notes." Volume 7: Poetry 6 This volume includes all of the "Fifty Classical Poetry Drafts" and "One Hundred Classical Poetry Drafts" that Kenji compiled in the summer of 1933, shortly before his death, and 102 other classical poems as "Unfinished Classical Poetry Drafts." Volume 8: Fairy Tales 1 This volume includes fairy tales written at the earliest stage, including the newly discovered original manuscript of "Kashiwabayashi no Yoru" (Night in the Oak Grove). Volume 9: Fairy Tales 2 This volume includes fairy tales from around the age of 26, including the early forms of works that later underwent significant changes, such as "Kazeno Matasaburo," "Pigs of Flandon Agricultural School," and "The Office of the Cats," as well as "Vegetarian Festival." Volume 14: Miscellaneous Compilation, Collated Edition This volume includes everything from newly discovered "Spelling Lessons" and "Rice Cultivation Fertilization Records" to fragments and scraps. To convey Kenji's handwriting and traces, "Educational Illustrations," "Paintings," etc., are included in color.
