I haven't worn it many times because I didn't have many clothes to match it with. In my personal opinion, I took care to use it, such as not wearing it on rainy days and taking it off when eating, so there are no noticeable scratches or stains. However, there are several small dents on the lower back (see the photo on the far right). This was caused by storing it on top of a studded jacket. They are not deep dents, so I don't think they will bother you much, but I do not recommend purchasing it if you are concerned.
