Thank you for viewing. [Product Overview] This is one of a few guitars originally produced for overseas markets, then specially ordered by Ishibashi Music and sold in limited quantities in Japan. It has specifications inspired by the famous PE-R80, featuring a cloud-shaped inlay, the original SPT bridge and QH tailpiece, and a Dual Sound switch that allows switching between series/parallel for each pickup. The set-neck with heel-less joint provides high playability up to the high frets. The pickups are two "Classic Power" double-cream pickups made in Japan. They are the same as those used in the current PE-R80. The "Classic Power" pickups, with Alnico magnets, are legendary, with a story of being developed in the early 80s, referencing Gibson P.A.F. pickups, with the full cooperation of guitarist Kazumi Watanabe, and after over 100 prototypes. They have ample power while also possessing moderate treble, smooth mid-low frequencies, and excellent note separation. The tuners also use GOTOH SG301, the same as the PE-R80. Traditional barrel knobs are used for the control knobs. The original F80 is known for its very heavy weight due to its maple top, mahogany, and maple back construction, but this guitar is made with an Okoume body, maple top, and Nyatoh neck, while omitting the maple back, resulting in a very lightweight design. It's light and easy to handle, and the thicker neck provides a solid sound, making it a very easy-to-use guitar. I'm also a little hesitant to sell it, so I may withdraw the listing on a whim. [Condition] The frets have more than 90% remaining. The neck has been corrected for a forward bow once. It is straight now. The string height is set high to my preference (approximately 2mm at the 1st string). There is some cracking on the front pickup's escutcheon. In addition, there are paint surface damages and minor scratches associated with use.
