This is the signature model of Brian Hecht, a master of the bass trombone. I purchased it about 5 years ago and have been using it as my main instrument, but I've decided to sell it as my performance opportunities will be decreasing. I've played almost exclusively on this instrument for the past 5 years, so there are lacquer wear and small dents all over, but I believe the instrument's function and sound are still at a level where it can be used actively. * The inside of the tubing was cleaned and consumables such as corks were replaced at a musical instrument store in Tokyo at the end of last year. (I also requested slide adjustment, but it was judged that no adjustment was necessary because there was almost no distortion.) It works extremely well with recent US-made modern mouthpieces such as Griego and UltimateBrass, and if you can grasp the characteristics of the instrument, you can enjoy a dynamic and rich sound. On the other hand, if you can't control a sufficient amount of breath with a mouthpiece of a certain size, it won't respond at all, so a certain level of skill may be required. This model will become increasingly valuable as Mr. Hecht has become a Thein artist.
