The entire garment features fine sashiko stitching. The black fabric (with navy blue on part of the sleeves) has circular sashiko stitching on the pockets. Photos 8 and 9 show close-ups of the sashiko. I don't think you often see jackets with this much sashiko. I believe it cost around ¥40,000 when I bought it. Anyone who likes vintage clothing will understand.
