This glass lampshade features a beautiful turquoise blue reminiscent of a tropical sea and a soft milky white. When lit, the milky white part glows softly, and the frilled edge spreads the light, creating impressive shadows in the space. The first and second photos are lighting examples. Please check the actual product photos (photos 3-11). 【Condition】 Rust stains around the socket attachment on the top of the shade have been removed, but yellowing remains (photos 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9). There are blue color irregularities thought to be from the glass manufacturing process (marked areas in the photos). There is black staining that could not be removed by cleaning (photo 11). None of these issues affect use, but please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such imperfections. This item was stored wrapped in Showa-era newspapers and may date from the late Showa period.
