I'm a roll of beni-kinu (red silk). It was rolled on a core, but I unrolled it to check the condition and length. The condition is good, and there's enough for one tan (a unit of fabric length). Width: Approximately 33.5 cm Length: Approximately 12.58 meters (excluding the stiff ends) Cranes are depicted with gold sunago (gold dust) on a ground of cords and peonies. The cranes face in alternating directions. I believe this is fabric for a nagajuban (long undergarment) for celebrations such as weddings. As it is old beni-kinu, it will likely fade significantly. Please be aware of the characteristics of beni-kinu before purchasing. It has been stored at home for many years. It is rolled on a cardboard core that resembles wood. Recycled materials will be used for packaging. Please refrain from price negotiations or returns.
