Thank you for viewing. This is a set of 6 Ten-ga Flutes for sale. The maker is Mr. Tenga Takeda (Hiroshima Prefecture). Each flute has a unique tone and produces a beautiful sound. These are valuable shinobue flutes that are no longer being made. They are similar to a shakuhachi but are a transverse flute. They are the type of shinobue with a back hole, like the Misato flute, so it is recommended to play them with a slight "meri-fuki" (downward blowing). There is a wind hole at the end of the tube. There are no cracks in the tubes. These are used items, so there is some wear and tear, but we appreciate your understanding. *The last photo includes an explanation of the Ten-ga flute.
