This is a 2006 Gibson head Epiphone Japan SG61, made for only a short period and weighing a very light 2.6kg, with an extremely thin lacquer finish. The frets show almost no wear, and while there are light scratches and wiping marks, they are barely noticeable unless held up to the light, making it in remarkably good condition for a guitar from around 20 years ago. The quality rosewood fingerboard is also evident. It compares favorably to the original SG in playability, and its light weight allows for an acoustic tone suitable for everything from hard rock to metal. Personally, I enjoy the crunch of the half-tone. It comes with a thick gig bag that can be carried on your back. A truss rod wrench is included, and the case will be wrapped in air cap for shipping.
