This is likely an old Kyonuri lacquerware bowl. It features a tasteful split-color design with a subdued, yet elegant, landscape scene of mountains and pavilions on the interior. The bowl has a unique design, split with a gradient of vermilion and yellow lacquer. The interior maki-e (sprinkled picture) is modestly applied but carefully detailed. As shown in the images, there are some scratches and areas where the lacquer has been touched up. The size is 12.6cm in diameter and 9cm in height. Please understand that this is an antique item.
