This is a Bizen ware piece made by Taka'o Kimura, a Bizen ware potter who passed away in 2012. It is a work made in the "Noborigama" (climbing kiln) of the Yushin Kiln, which uses firewood, one of the few such kilns in Kanagawa Prefecture. That kiln is no longer in existence, so this is a rare piece that can no longer be replicated.
