I am a non-smoker and do not have any pets, so I don't think you will have to worry about odors. The figures are stored in a place where they are not exposed to direct sunlight. - Regarding the product.... These are prize items, so there may be minor scratches, etc., from when they were obtained. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this.
