The double stitching uses a 5mm gauge on the sewing machine. The reinforcement rivets are carefully placed, with the heads of the through rivets flattened. Attention to detail is evident, such as the leather padding on the collar hanging rivets. The original Wabash fabric is woven on a shuttle loom using indigo warp and weft threads, with a focus on the selvedge (ears). The dot stripe pattern has been modified to be smaller than the original dots of the time to avoid a clumsy look.
